What's Behind "What's Next" - The Conference Theme

As the AMA Marketing Research Conference Committee considered event themes, there was tremendous interest in a very forward-looking conference theme in light of the uncertainty prevalent about the future in so many companies.

As market research professionals, we're uniquely qualified to reach across disciplines in creating and communicating the insights necessary for our companies to move more aggressively and confidently toward success amid dramatic shifts in economics, technology, and consumer disposition. The getting ready for "What's Next" theme was chosen to demonstrate this role along with the transformations necessary to make it a reality.

The conference theme is played out across 3 educational tracks:

Inspiring Success - These sessions focus on the personal and professional skills we all need to excel as business leaders in today's world. Specific topics include leadership skills, innovation, and career management.

Maximizing Results - Within this track, you'll be exposed to ways research skills and techniques can be used to better prepare for the future. Among the subjects are research techniques, tools, and ways to develop a stronger, broader business understanding.

Anticipating the Future - Presenters in this track will highlight what's coming in the world of marketing research, along with ways to prepare ourselves, our discipline, and our companies for the future. These topics will include exploration of emerging research approaches, marketplace trends, and business outlooks.

One of the keys to maximizing the value of your conference experience is to make sure it's very interactive. The attendee list includes top marketing research professionals from across industries. Take advantage of all the in-person and virtual opportunities to expand your learning and best prepare for success with What's Next.
